Natural gas plays an important role in the energy world.

Besides being available and cost effective, its success and increasing consumption are due to its favourable eco-balance, especially in terms of CO₂ and fine particle emissions.

A promising futur

Its consumption should increase by 1,8% per year and it should make up 22% of the world's energy balance by 2030. This progress is mainly due to energy requirements of emerging countries and to electricity production from natural gas.

General Assembly

During our General Assembly on May 30, 2011, René Bautz, our Chief Executive Officer, discussed various subjects of which record results in 2010, financial results, security of supply as well as various projects related to Gaznat especially in the field of electricity production.
