Gaznat SA won the 2026 Watt d'Or award in the "energy technologies" category thanks to its innovation platform developed in Aigle.
Awarded by the SFOE, the Watt d'Or is a distinction for innovative companies that offer solutions to secure Switzerland's energy future.
This award is above all a recognition of the work of Gaznat's teams and scientific partners, who have been involved in the creation of the Innovation Lab since the beginning. Designed to be a leading hub in French-speaking Switzerland for testing new energy technologies in a semi-industrial environment, the Innovation Lab enables progress to be made on the strategic themes of power-to-gas, decarbonization, and renewable gas storage.
This is an honor for Gaznat, and it is also a source of motivation to continue rolling out the Net Zero 2050 strategy, with the support of technical partners, scientific research institutions, and Swiss start-ups.
