Your tasks

You will be responsible for monitoring and managing flows in the natural gas transmission network in western Switzerland, using a supervision system. As the gas supply is managed 24/7, the operator is required to work a continuous 3×8 hour shift.

In this context, you will also be required to carry out: network simulations using meteorological data, checks and validations of supply plans supplied by the relevant department. You will be involved in drawing up statistics for the department.

Your profile

You have completed your CFC in a technical field (mechanics, electricity, chemical industry, etc.) or equivalent training, and have several years' professional experience and the ability to manage technical installations.

In addition, you have a keen interest in IT and are proficient in the usual IT tools (Microsoft Office).

With excellent analytical and synthesis skills, you are able to deal with the unexpected and make quick decisions. You also have a strong sense of responsibility, are able to work autonomously and have excellent resistance to stress.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that you must be domiciled in the Chablais region, and that you must also have a driving license, in order to be ready for on-call duty.

A native French speaker, you preferably have a good oral and written knowledge of English or German.
