ALERT

Alert level
Tensions in the market.
  • Deterioration of gas supply.
  • The market can cope without coercive measures.

BUT

  • Limited gas availability.
  • If necessary, switch dual-fuel customers to interruptibility contracts, at the request of grid operators.

EMERGENCY

Emergency level
Force majeure / severe shortage.
  • Major gas supply failure.
  • All relevant market-based measures have been implemented, or are in the process of being implemented.

AND

  • Not enough gas available on the markets to balance the networks.
  • Medium and long-term contracts are only partially delivered.
  • Measures to ensure the country's economic supply may be ordered by emergency ordinance (switching of dual-fuel plants, bans and restrictions on gas use, quotas).
